Our goal has always been to create a safe, structured, and welcoming environment for both dogs and their humans. Adding training allows us to support that mission even more — helping dogs build the skills they need to confidently enjoy our park.

We believe that with the right guidance, every dog and every owner who wants to visit IPA should have the opportunity to do so.

Our group training classes are designed specifically for real-life situations — especially dog park environments

Dog Park Etiquette

Perfect for dogs who:
1. Need help with polite greetings
2. Get overstimulated in group play
3. Struggle with recall in distracting environments
4. Need to practice calm entry skills

Foundations & Basics

We focus on practical, everyday skills like:
1. Reliable recall (“come” when called)
2. Loose leash walkingImpulse control
3. Settling on a mat while you socializeThese classes are structured, supportive, and built to strengthen communication between you and your dog.

One on One Training

If your dog only needs help with a few specific behaviors — or you prefer a more personalized approach — we offer private sessions with our trainer.
One-on-one training is great for:

2. Confidence building
3. Fine-tuning obedience skills
4. Preparing for successful dog park visits
